Chaplet of
the Holy Trinity
(or The Angelic Trisagion) - Feast: Sunday after Pentecost. Additionally,
each Sunday is dedicated to the Holy Trinity.
It
is fitting that of the many chaplets, one is devoted exclusively to the
Blessed Trinity. This little known chaplet is prayed in union with the
entire choir of angels and reminds us of the beautiful song of praise
of the Heavenly Hosts; the incense of prayer rising before the throne
of Almighty God.
It consists of a single bead and then 3 groups of 9 beads. The beads may
be grouped in any desired colors.

On the Trinity
Crucifix or medal: Thou, O Lord, wilt open my lips; and my tongue
shall proclaim Thy praise. Incline unto my aid, O God; O Lord, make haste
to help me.
Glory Be
On the single bead: Holy God, holy strong One, holy immortal One
have mercy on us.
Our Father
On the 3
sets of nine beads:
To Thee be praise, to Thee be glory, to Thee be thanksgiving through endless
ages O Blessed Trinity.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Hosts; the heavens and the earth are full
of Thy glory.
In between the decades, on the chain:
Glory Be
|
On the center
medal:
With all our heart and voice, we acknowledge, we praise and we bless Thee,
God the Father, unbegotten; Thee, the Only-begotten Son; Thee, the Holy
Spirit the Paraclete, O holy and undivided Trinity. To Thee be honor and
glory forever.
Ending on the
Crucifix or medal:
Almighty and everlasting God, who hast given unto us Thy servants grace
by the confession of the true faith to acknowledge the glory of the eternal
Trinity, and in the power of Thy divine majesty to worship the Unity;
we beseech Thee that by our steadfastness in this same faith, we may evermore
be defended from all adversities. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Deliver us, save us, vivify us, O Blessed Trinity.
